About Us

Hey! I'm Janniina, almost in my 30's and from the middle part of Finland, Kuopio. At home I have 3 portuguese water dogs Daya, Lady and Darra and one spanish water dog Diva. We also share custody of few portugueses with my mom and close friends. I'm a licensed massage therapist and besides from the dogs, I'm also very enthusiast about sports like crossfit.

Our family got our first dog in 2009, spanish water dog Ebba (Zorrazo Fiery Hunter), who introduced us to the whole dog world and was my best friend in every summer camp and hobby. Ebba's puppy Bella (Santonja Gasolina) stayed also at home and she was the one dog whose success really got us into dog shows. Ebba's & Bella's legacy still lays in my moms breedings in Esmero Kennel.

I started doing Junior Handling with Ebba and later on also with other dogs. I learned to love show dogs, different breeds and different types. I have my biggest thanks to Kamile who taught me the way to show portuguese water dogs and that's also how I fell in love with this breed and where I got my first PWD, Daya.

In Junior handling I placed in Finnish championship as 5th and won the district championship twice. I have traveled Finland and abroad showing dogs and in summer 2025 I was working for a professional handler in the USA.

My goal as a breeder is to make everyone their own Daya. She's such a great representive of a PWD for me. I want to breed multi-functional, beautiful and healthy PWD's with their happy and open temperament.
